Remote Control Dozer
Figured I’d share a cool project I’ve been working on for the past year or so.
https://youtu.be/K5ZSndS0gkE
Definitely some applications of this technology that some folks here would be interested in.

I need to buy one of those puppies for cleaning up the street in front of my house. Snow gone, parked cars gone.

I worked at a diamond mine in the NWT buying the parts to set up a Teleremote system for the scoops that pick up the kimberlite after a blast. The blast area underground could be unstable dangerous to human operators. The eventual plan could be to set up the system in Yellow Knife 350 kms. away.
Picture from the vendor I was buying parts from the other is the way they used to operate the scoops putting the operator in some danger from a cave in or mud push.

Can hardly wait until you roll out of bed, pour a coffee and fire up the robot at work to get the day going instead of putting my boot up people's arse to get them going....

Very cool! Should be easy to transfer that to a snowcat as well. Is there anyway to get feedback from the blade to the remote so that you get the "feel" of the cat?

that's a cool project
when I worked on the ice roads back in the late 60's that would have been a handy piece of equipment,
in two winters we lost 7 operators through the muskeg ,
technology has sure come leaps and bounds since then
