Hey! I'm Fijian!

Well, I self identify as one at this moment in order to have grounds for outrage.

Perhaps it's better if he isn't home, less stress for him, than watching Edmonton lose yet again. Just think how stressed he will be if Toronto and Calgary make the playoffs.

My understanding ... US gov shutdown is because approval is needed to borrow (increase debt). US debt makes Cdn debt look pretty insignificant. Why is US so heavily in debt...because every party that has been in power has added to the debt. What contributes to the debt ... wars/military involvement outside the US. Nope, not squandering $ on health care like Canada. Taxes...Trumps big cuts have brought overall tax down to about the same level as Canada.
There, lots to argue over.

Seems appropriate given the bi-partisanship in both politics and journalism these days.

This will end when they either get trump out or when his 8 years are up.

How do you tell a Dutchman from a German?
Burn a five dollar bill and see which one sweats the most.

Ever wonder why they put flat sides on the loonies?

So you can use a wrench to get it out of a Dutchman's hands.

In-laws are all Hollanders. I could go all night.

I need ollibollen and some croquettes now.

Riiight....... it was one presidents fault.

Myopic

The trend of polarization started in the Reagan years.... ramped up during Clinton’s... was pretty much full bore during Bush Jr’s..... then the gloves really came off during Obama’s...

I see it as linked directly to the Fairness Doctrine being repealed .... in the name of ‘free speech’.
