Default Winter camo

What are you coyote/water Fowler guys using for snow camo. Cabelas had pants and a jacket shell that fit over your existing winter gear at a decent price but they recently discontinued that product. Anyone have any recommendations that won’t break the bank?

I use a lighter jacket and bib pants, bought mine at WSS a few years ago but that option gone to, I see Amazon has quite a bit of different stuff. Ghilli and Ponchos pretty cheap on there.

I’ve been looking for a shell style that fits over top of my real tree parka. I’ll definitely check amazon out. Thank you.

I stopped in at Seabarm here in Edmonton and picked up a set of military white camo shell over pants and a jacket for $ 10.00 a piece. He had a big box of them in various condition and sizes. I thought it was great, and if I wish I can even do my own camo pattern on them. I just could not justify spending hundreds on winter camo.

When we hunt snow geese, we use those disposable painter suits or white coveralls. The coveralls are like $40 at peavy mart I believe.

If I am against a bush line of a field or in the timber, I usually wear my RT brown insulated pants or bibs with my winter coat with a MOBU winter fleece long coat overtop. Blends in quite nicely. I do pack my MOBU winter fleece pants if more setups in fields

The painters suits might work good for snow geese but they wouldn't last long if you were going through any trees/bush.

Default White camo

Why not white painters coveralls from somewhere like Marks?
Or if your not tramping through the bush use Tyvek coveralls over your thermal gear.

Definitely going to need something more on the tougher side as I am a little clumsy and will be walking through bush a bit too.

Amazon has tons of options, after late season waterfowl stuff for me I drfinety had a number of days I felt like no matter what I did Ducks seen me. Some pretty cool ghilie suites out there but durability could be questionable. If you go this route please let us know how it works out

I picked up a Cabela's jacket and bibs for $65 apiece at Wholesale Liquidators in Edmonton.

The last time I was in there, there was the odd King's camo piece as well.

Looks like they have a presence on Amazon.ca now too.

Might be worth checking out.
