2016 moose down!
Went for a short walk after only seeing a whitetail doe where I was sitting for the morning hunt. I didn't make it very far before jumping this cow out of her bed. I hit her hard with the 7mm Remington Magnum and she took off. After finishing a quick smoke I slowly worked my way to where she was standing. Ended up finding her piled up dead at the very end of the cutline. I used a 160 grain accubond.
