Red face 2013 maple breakfast sausage / jalepeno cheddar smokies down

Was really hoping for a big mulie.. but this guy just wouldnt stop coming to me. After he crossed the 50 yard ish mark walking straight to me i put the rifle on the sticks. Pretty much gave him a chance to get away with a wave.. but he knew i was there and just kept coming. Sent a 130gr Hornady GMX into the center of his neck on a frontal shot so it would exit out well over his back. Sitting in cutlines and old cutblocks has been fun this year. With the freezer half stuffed in September.. i dedicated this little guy to Maple breakfast sausage extra maple... and jalepeno cheddar smokies.

The game Hoist Jungleboy made me for this season proved itself worth yet again this season... crank a deer right up one handed with ease.. throw a game bag on and swing it in the truck. Works great for moose halves.

Now for whitetail buck, elk and possible a supp does in a high doe area i know of.

Good luck to all of you this weekend.

It had to be done. You probably saved lives as he would've walked in front of a family travelling down the highway in their van this winter.

Sausage yum.

Right on, man!

Nice photos, too!

Now that is one heck of a slick hoist! What a great tool, especially for a guy hunting alone. Getting a 250 pound mulie into the back of the truck by one's self isn't exactly the funnest thing in the world, as I'm sure many here can attest to.

Skinning it in the air in the field... and putting a game bag on.. then swinging it in and lowering at same time... is very easy. Worth its weight in gold. ... breaks down in two pieces.

Jungleboy is good at what he makes. I want one of the fire pits he makes with the ruger logo cut into it all the way around . My hoist looks a bit different due to him using metal I already had.
