Default Beaver Pelts

The creeks around my place are about to start running. I'm about to start my muskrat trapping. My question is whether I should set for beaver to. I have only ever trapped beaver under the ice in Jan and Feb. are the pelts still good or is it not worthwhile. If it is a 50/50 proposition on getting a decent pelt, I would rather leave them for next season.

Your thoughts?

Pelts will still be in great shape, trap em. They'll be good for a while yet. If you notice fresh bites on them, then stop.
