Has anyone been around WMU's 344,342, 340 and have you seen any elk, or whitetails? going near Rob next weekend and I'm wondering if any of you guys have had action in the surrounding area? think a might camp just off Hwy 47 near the Micleod river. 2nd year hunting so any help would be great. Might buy a Mulie tag as well.
Was in 340 on Saturday (scouting) and Monday (hunting). Didn't see any Elk- but saw a lot of Whitetails. Does with fawns were consistent, and only saw a couple of Whitetail bucks. Both were 4 pters- maybe 110-120 range. Good bears in there also. Did see a couple of really small Mulie bucks in the morning. Good luck.
