Default Big Old Cow

Got lucky last Friday with my late season cow elk and harvested a beauty, lots of good meat to fill the freezer on this old gal!

Did she run far on you after you shot her?

No sir 😀 dropped her in her tracks. The heard was pushed by other hunters right by me. They were on the move but I made it count, luckily!

Default elk

I made the mistake of shooting the 20 year old elk herd lead cow a couple years back. It was worst elk meat we ever had!! She was sure a monster though.
