Default European Canada Geese

Are the Canada geese in Europe the same ones that we can find here or a different subspecies? I've been seeing them feeding on the fields already, including specks and some other geese we don't have in Alberta. Season here starts earlier since they cut wheat 1-2 weeks ago and corn is ready in about a month.

Ps. Would geese sit on sunflower fields after harvest? I assume they would love that stuff haha

Quick google search says yes they have regular canada geese. As far as sunflowers i doubt a big bird like that would land in a field with stiff pointy stalks.

Well I assumed if they land in corn they can land in sunflowers as they're cut pretty low. As it's the Canada geese I thought maybe they have a smaller subspecies in Poland (where I am)

I remember being told in Poland that they were an introduced, not native European species. Google pops up the above link.
