Default Garden seeds

Where do you buy your garden seeds, a few packages of Toms and Beans we got from Green Acres last year didn't germinate. Some of teh online ones I looked at were rather epensive.

ive always used richtersherbs

they are online, and sell damn near everything youd ever want to plant.

I find the seeds are reasonably priced, if you want to get Plugs or started seedlings it gets pricy in a hurry.

but that may be what your looking for to avoid the germination headache all together!

Actually I like germinating as my plants seem to do better.

Default Seed

We bought our seeds at Peavey Mart in Red Deer last spring and the majority of them did not germinate.

Most were either BURPEE, MCKENZIE, or PIKE seeds. Since there were different brand names, I can only assume it was something in the storage of the product.

Same here.

I use the Burpee heirloom seeds that Superstore sells. They have never failed to germinate for me.

Terra edibles is what I use.
Mail order but I get a 100% germination rate.
Plus I just received their seed booklet in the mail.
Thumbs up from me.

If I buy them at the store I usually buy Mackenzie brand. I have ordered tomato seeds from west coast seeds and the have been good. I don't grow much and have kept open seed packets in the cupboard for 5-6 years send they still germinate. Takes a little longer and not as many but they still work.

West coast seeds.
If you put in an order, they'll mail you a catalogue next year.
It's nice to start thinking about spring when that catalogue comes in the mail.

Default T&T Seeds Manitoba....

My Mother bought her seeds for many ,many years VIA mail order from T&T Seeds in Manitoba. They now have a pretty decent web order sight. I also have ordered from them for years now. My Mom always said to purchase your seeds from closer to home, that are sold in areas with similar climates to produce the best plant hardiness results. I now tend to agree after experimenting with some bigger seed suppliers and having marginal success compared to the success I have had with T&T seeds.

Just my 2cents....
