Default Coating chironomids?

I've ben having good success this year on chironomids. Can I coat them with a glue of some kind to make them a little more durable? Kinda new at this. Thanks for your help.

i use sally hansen's hard as nails.walmart nail polish area,cheapest place.or you can use brushable lock tite,loop uv knot sense & the light to harden/cure it

2 part apoxy works great helps get the flies down quick. get the five minute cure time .

Hard as nails nail polish works awesome, 2 coats if you can.
