Moose Hunting 414

Hey Guys,

I got drawn in 414 for a bull moose, not looking for anyones spots just wondering about general tips? Never hunted moose before so any help is appreciated!!!

So i have been out looking for a moose probably 15 days so far and am not having luck calling anything in! I have found lots of sign and even seen a couple cows but can't seem to get a bull to respond let alone show himself.

Was wondering if anyone out there had some tips/ideas? has the rut gone by now, should I try to still hunt them?

First moose tag so am very green!

Keep trying sit somewhere where the cows were and call all day .cant kill them at home

Definitely still hunt! Moose can be tricky, very much right place right time type of hunt as they can travel long distances. If you're seeing cows then you're in the right area to be seeing bulls, be patient and keep at it!

There are still cows coming heat and bulls can be receptive to calling well before and well after the main push of the rut.
