Default Spots around Bowness

Hi everyone, want to head out with my brother for a couple hours tomorrow. He needs to say pretty close to home (young family), and he lives in Bowness. I've heard mixed reviews of fishing around some of the bridges in and around lowness park, including the railway bridge.

Does anyone have any spots that could produce in that area? Or I suppose anywhere in the general vicinity of NW Calgary? I might be able to convince him to head a little bit west of town, but not very far.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

It starts to get pretty slow this time of year. I catch about one trout per trip or so now, compared to summer, when there are multiple fish caught. Try and stay away from the bridges, as they are too heavily fished in my opinion. I do a lot of walking and wading, a big effort for the results I get. It is still better than not fishing.
