Default Almost!

Put a stalk on a pretty damn good buck yesterday..came up behind him without being detected... got within 20 yards only to find a smaller buck hiding between the outcrop rocks 10 yards in front of me! Right between me and my target buck. Got settled in for the wait, and 3 hours later the younger buck gets up for a stretch and busts me. He and the 4 other bucks hot tailed it outta there. Super cool experience, but man I wish that smaller buck wasn’t there.

Next time

Assuming it was a mule deer...those big boys always travel with the little guys who blow your stalk lol.

Check out the link in my initial post.

I couldn’t have gone for the little guy with this big boy right behind him... I’ve been chasing him for a couple weeks. The smaller 4 pointer was a hard one to pass up on
