They have something very similar to that over the Ukraininan Cultural Heritage Village. It's called a burdei and has 4 X the floor space and 4 X taller than the one in the video. It has a bed, a cook stove, a kitchen table and a wheat grinder in it! The construction is the same, other that the roof top is thicker slabs of sod, kind of like steps. Those were the very 1st structures the Ukrainians built when they arrived here in East central Alberta.
