This is the same one that works great for me. Although there is a new viewer from lowdown out of the states. Looks like the next best thing as far as viewers goes. Might give it a try next year

I think I’ve found my answer, lotsa pigtail models on Amazon and in person at various stores for under 20 bucks.
As it is,at present I only have 3 cams and 6 cards that I’ve been swapping out but again is kinda a PITA to lug a laptop around scouting and even worse hunting(I already tend to carry way too much junk and gadgets in my pack as it is) so I was mostly interested in which brands of pigtail readers work as advertised and which junk to avoid.
I’d like to buy a cam per month or so and this time next year have a small fleet of 12-15 cams in the bush....had 4 but one was stolen before I seen a single pic from it.....on private land where I had sole permission no less!! 🤬

Hmmm that’s a shame, mines been flawless and I’ll back it up with a good review. I don’t have to remove my phone case to use it either, then again I don’t waste my money on the otter cases. Good luck on your search though.

Small laptop is very useful if you already own for work or personal etc, if not extra SD cards which are cheap so you can swap and get out. Laptop can be set to auto import pictures from card when plugged in. Can view if necessary or take them home.

Just buy an apple one and be done with it.
It uploads the photos to your photo app, it also makes an album. You can then go through and delete the ones you don’t want and save the good ones, or put them on your computer. Works slick.
I had the lime green HME one from Cabelas, it worked about 4 times then stopped working all of a sudden while I was back in the bush. Piece of crap.

If you can charge your phone with a normal cord, you can use the apple reader.

This has been our most reliable. But I did pick up a couple others in the Princess Auyo electronics section. For 3-4$. They work pretty good also

I also use the Apple SD card reader. Checked my camera yesterday and quickly went through 1395 pictures. Very easy and as mentioned you can import the good ones and delete the ones you don't want. As mentioned above, as long as you can charge your phone with the case on; you can use this card reader.

Ive purchased the cheap $15 ones off amazon for my iPhone. They work for a bit and then just crap out. No rhyme or reason to why they quit, they just do.

I run 8 cameras and have two cards for each. Easiest thing I have found.
