It's amazing how many people do not know the regs outside of the places that are actually listed in the guide. Every lake is not on there and if you read a little you will see that they are open all year in PP1 and the limits are listed which are the same as the ones for the zone. get out there and go fishing before May 8 if you do not see it in the listing as they are good to go. You may also catch fish down south that are not listed in the chart as well. It doesn't mean you can keep them all either (which I have heard of by the way) but you must adhere to this paragraph below for size and qty.

Open all year – Walleye limit 3 over 50 cm; Pike limit 3 over 63 cm; Perch limit 15; Lake Whitefish limit 10; Burbot limit 10; Trout limit 5; Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Bait allowed.
