But yeah, skinny ugly thing, and it didn't have any significant undigested food contents when I cleaned it. Still fought well coming in, and fought coming off the hook.

The gouges by its dorsal and caudal fins looked like fresh battle scars, but I don't know what the deal with that hump on its back was.

Here's a hard water Pickeral, because that's what they're called in Ontario.

And a puffer fish from Tasmania.

Here's a couple from the Straight of Malaka.

The grouper was released. The trigger fish might be the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.

A few more from the Straight of Malaka.

The final image was taken aboard a Burmese Sea Gypsy Trawler. For all the flamers out there, this is poaching. There were 3 trawlers in the group, and each deck had about 100 of these 40gal barrels, full.

Apparently it sold as chicken feed for about $0.04/lb.

As this is a picture thread, please keep the commentary confined to posts with pics.

Here is a rainbow held by one of my biology students in Kyrgyzstan, caught in the large lake Issyk-kul.

The small fish is the single endemic species found in the lake Song-kul, high in the mountain Jai-lo of the Tian-shan, Kyrgyzstan.

I've been compiling old photographs and am planning on scanning them (buying a scanner looks cheaper than having someone do that for me) and then post,, there's one of a classic coloured Rainbow from upper-K that just leaves me thinking, oooooooh they were that big.

And your pic looks just like you except the your hair is fluorescent orange now. Sundance may make an offer for your shorts, so before you decide to sell them on e-bay on the vintage clothing page, wait for his offer.
