I totally agree with Eric Francis on the goalie change. He nailed it.

He said it was a bad mistake and potentially a disastrous (turning point for the season)....decision.
Basically, Peters needed to show more faith in him. First goal was soft, but he did the right thing to come out and play puck on second (showing confidence)...but made mistake to play it up middle. He needed to let Rittich redeem himself, and play through it.
I agree. And Smith....first shot. Again.
Wish Rittich started second.

I was just thinking that hockey players would make great fighter pilots...amazing situational awareness, split second decision making, great hands and feet...the skill levels of these guys is scary!
Just rambling, but really.....killer instinct too....
But back to the game. Flames really need one this period, or two...just to set the stage for the third.
