Default Smoke Lake or Iosegun Lake

Has anyone been fishing on these lakes lately? Wondering if some whites have been seen or caught? Thanks for any updates on ice conditions there as well.

You can't keep any whites from either lake this year. I used to love Smoke for big whites. Used to catch quite a few between 6 and 9 lbs.

Haven’t been to Smoke for at least 20 years. I remember some big whites but not that many. Also the ice was not that great in spots

Had a cool experience at Iosegun years ago. Was sitting in my chair jigging and along comes a guy in a ultralite and landed right close to my spot. It was a fish cop and a very nice guy. What a great job cruising around like that. Was surprised because the lake is just off the main road from Fox creek. Tons of walleye in there but small. This was a few years ago
