I have been seeing droppings like that in my yard for years, always associated with Deer tracks. And always only when tender clover is available.
Bear may be a possibility, although I've never seen Bear droppings like that, they could make them as far as I know.

Looks like rutting bull moose poop to me.
I've also seen this from deer and moose when they're eating a lot of alfalfa.

Looks like a bunch of individual, but really soft pellets. With out scale I would guess deer or moose that are something too rich for this time of year.

Now that I'm not half asleep and can see clearer, I'd like to change my vote to bovine. Not enough pellet formation to be moose or deer

Its a summer turd from an ungulate, they are not pellets when they are eating wet lush veg. I side with blgoodbrand1, probably elk, but maybe moose. Some of you need to get out more out side of November and scout year round. Quite a common turd pending the time of yr.

Sorry, not just summer but fall too. When they eat lush green feed with a good moisture content it often looks like that. Ie second cut hay, alfalfa, regening crops after harvest..... new grasses on a recently built pipeline.
