When does everyone start using tick repellent? 1.5 yr old lab.

This year, Simparica. Bravecto, Nexgard, Simparica... are all equally effective.

Right about now. My lab never has an issue with them. My poodle on the other hand.....nasty critters

Anyone ever get ticks right in the city of Calgary for example Nose Hill Park or the ridge along the Bow river in NW Calgary?
I was trying to explain to a lady that you do not get ticks just in treed areas but also they are in the grass and climb up your pant leg. That was the first time she had ever heard ticks were in the grass.
Hope she believes me.

Would you recommended the oral application, or the one you rub on there fur?
