Default 2016 Alberta public land whitetail buck.

a very emotional year full of the highest of highs and very lowest of lows. It all came together yesterday evening like it was meant to be.
Big game hunting can be a very emotional and physical rollercoaster. But when those moments of a lifetime come together u realize it was all worth it.

Here he is my 2016 Alberta Public land Whitetail Buck.
Which last Sunday the 20th I rattled him in in the afternoon but was saved by a cluster of trees and then the wind.
So to get on him again and close the deal with the season ender around the corner and him sneaking through another week of public land pressure is one of the biggest highlights of my hunting career.

Although not the biggest buck ever and the second largest I have harvested. It's not the size that always matters it's the people u spent the season with, Everyone that made it come together, The experiences u have in the outdoors and sense of accomplishment to put food on the table.

That is awesome, I got a few gooders floating around, cameras don't lie, public and pressure land...sit and wait...good job!

My thoughts exactly. As much as I love the experience of hunting, like many things it is much more memorable given those you can experience it with.

My worst harvesting years have stories that can rival my best trophies.

Nice buck
