Hey guys. I just rigged up a browning xbolt in .300 win mag and put a Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 scope on it. I'm wondering if any of you have any information as to what ammo shoots best out of this gun. I'm not planning on shooting long distances, under 300 yards preferably, just looking for tight, consistent grouping. Any help you guys can offer would be nice. Thanks in advance
The only way to possibly know which loads will be the most accurate in a given rifle, is by trying loads in the specific rifle, to see for yourself. Even with the same brand and model, individual rifles will prefer different loads.

I figured I'd have to take that route. Guess I'll buy a few different boxes and go from there
I recommend Winchester Supreme 180gr Accubonds or the Elite XP3's . I reload for mine (Sako m75ss 300WM with Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 - rifle set up new in 1997 and still my favorite rifle) but friends shoot the 2 listed ammo in their 300WM.
Buy a couple different brands and see what shoots best.
Another ammo would be the Barnes VORTX 180gr TTSX's.
