This was just a couple days ago if you missed it, a very curious bear decides to join the hunter! I don't know if I'd freeze or try get up, He did a pretty good job of sitting still.
Very interesting ! Back in the day, when I was a bear hunter/outfitter, we found that the bears climbed all of our stands, tore down all of the signage, and bit or chewed all of our trail timers(pre game cam days). I have actually had 2 bears come up my tree at the same time....one at the back using my climbing lugs and the other up the front, the hard way. But I never would have dreamt of letting one get all the way !!
Oko, I used to carry a gun when hunting them till I saw how fast they could climb or jump the 12' to a stand. I gave it up.....cause if one really wanted you, you're gonna have a problem......
