Kids Up Front Calgary is a non-profit organization in Calgary that provides donated event tickets to deserving children and families.

This summer, our biggest annual fundraiser, Stranded, takes place over three days out in Water Valley from August 9 – 11. It is like the TV show, Survivor in every way. We have a former challenge coordinator from the CBS show who helps run it, and we have our 18 contestants compete against each other in authentic Survivor challenges. They take part in tribal councils, fight for immunity, live off of rice and are followed by a camera crew for the weekend.

This will be our fourth edition of Stranded, and we are desperately in need of more contestants to be a part of the fundraiser.

Our contestants raise a minimum amount of $2,500 to compete.

Just like the show, we supply cooking pots and you do get a luxury item. With it being a fundraiser for Kids Up Front our minimum fundraising amount to take part is the $2,500. We help provide contestants with ideas on how to tap your network and also on what people have done in years past to meet their goal.

The contestant application has a lot of the information about the event included as well.
