Default XBolt vs Tikka

Hi All,

Need your feedback on XBolt vs Tikka T3. My friend is telling me to buy a XBolt. I like Tikka T3 since its light and love the way it works.

Please provide your input and let me know the pro and cons. I found Tikka is best value since my T3 in 7mm Remington was less than $1000.

However XBolt will cost over $1000.

Thank you
Nafi

I went with the xbolt and love it. I just didn’t like the way the tikka felt. Go to a gun store and shoulder them. See which fits best

Have both
I like light

The xbolt is a fantastic rifle. So is the T3.

I dont envy your situation but im telling you either one is a great choice if it fits you

You really have to shoulder them. I do not know why but the gun I have the most trouble shouldering well. I always find myself looking over the bolt handle rather than the down the barrel. Tikkas shoulder quite well for me. From a quality and accuracy standpoint they are about equal.

in 7mm rem,the xbolt hands down,26 inch barrel with less recoil then the t3,now if you said 6.5 x55 in that range go with the tikka, clips or a plenty .
