Smile Robarms XCR 5.56/.223 - Coyote Machine

This winter I managed to get ahold of a XCR chambered in 5.56/.223 from Mil Arm. A little pricey but is non-restricted compared to AR-15's.
Fairly Accurate Rifle, I have taken Yodies down at 250 yrds at a dead run.
The only issue I have discovered is the 2 stage trigger, a little more trickey than an AR-15 trigger (My favs DPMS).

I took the liberty in tricking this one out a little. The Ergo Rugger Grip shines compared to Factory Grips. The Front Grip w/ Bipod is fantastic. Bipod stays retracted until you press a thumb trigger and when extended will rotate 45 degress Left or Right. Although I have found you use different Muscle groups (Pulling during shooting can be an issue), practice is required.
Scope is a rifleman 3 - 9 X 40, nothing fancy.

Wolverine Supplies is currently waiting for an order for 6.8 SPC Barrels that are easily interchangable. Hopefully this will be the Deer Rifle for 2009.

If anyone is shooting one of these please put up comments/pictures of your tricked out Toy.

yeah...i spent a few evening polishing the trigger up and changed out the springs...took it down to about a 5# pull from 11# i think it weighed

will shoot 1.5" to 2" at 100 yards now with the cheap UMC stuff....not bad considering how it was

ive since changed out the handguard as well which in turn free floats the barrel entirely...that should help a bit i hope

then its time to build up a real load to push some V-max's outta her...should be an interesting predator season

we will have to get out and do a couple stands around our area this winter.

Default Ruger SR556

Does anyone know if this rifle is restricted? It's a piston driven AR15 variant.

i missed that somehow in your post...thats for sure the same grip (CAA)

im in the process of fabbing a weaver style sling stud that will go ahead of the foregrip so i can mount my rapid pivot bipod and use that for sitting on yote stands

you aint kidding about the tavor being a bit outta reach...wicked space aged lookin kit though
