Default New the Grouse Game

Pretty new to this website and hunting, I've done a bit of looking around but cant see to find much info on areas around me. I want to get out and do some grouse hunting around Calgary, all the areas I've checked out myself are always private property, other than just hunting from the road. If anyone knows any spots or areas they would be willing to share that'd be great ! I'm checking out Sibbald Flats this weekend hopefully all goes well.
Thanks,
Jordan

Good grouse starting point for this weekend, but be careful of camp grounds and Provincial Park areas. Additionally, it will likely be a zoo in Sibbald this weekend too as Elk is open already in some of that area, and the whole gammet will be open for hunting come Sunday morning (Nov 1).

Good luck.

You are good anywhere in K country as long as you are not in a Provincial park. Now folks can correct on this one if I'm in error (not looking at regs) but I believe you can also grouse hunt in Wildland Parks, but the drawback is that you can't have a dog off leash to point or flush for you.

Bit of a drive but at Bob creek staging area go right across creek instead of quad trail to the left . Few weeks ago saw over a dozen riding along the trail.
