Default waterfowl Decoy Set up

Hey guys

Just wanting to get some tips for a decoy set up for hunting over water and hunting over a field for both ducks and geese. Should I mix the 2 sets of decoys? Just wanting to get some tips for the up coming waterfowl season.

Thanks a lot and hope everyone has a good hunting season this year.

I've used floaters mixed with shells and fullbodies on a field hunt. Worked fine. Tossed out floaters on a field for ducks a few times, worked good.

I typically set up my goose decoys in my selected pattern and run a few duck dekes off to the side just for giggles. Duck decoys definitely aren't needed for field shoots. for water shoots targeting ducks Ill throw a few goose decoys out past my duck spread to act as confidence decoys.
