Don't know about the whitetail, but you will be in the heart of some great waterfowl hunting.

Smile Have a great time

There will be thousands and thousands of birds. Be glad you don't have dig pits, the ground is like stone.

We used to use a chicken wire with burlap blind or a "stand up" which was like a portable slough, saplings that you stuck in the ground where you want your blind. It works.

A dog is a big help especially for ducks.

put some miles on and find where the geese are feeding, find the x not just the field, ask permission and have fun. your in goose country. lots of greys and specs around, most are still locals except the specs, snows are slowly coming but not in any numbers yet, patiently waiting. Whitetail, well its not open, so you may want to dbl check that one. fair amount of huns around and a few sharpies, 3 key things, cover, water, food. find those three and you will find birds

As mentioned above you will be in a great area for birds! Lots of mule deer around that area. White tails are a little tougher to find around there but they are around! Good luck
