When thats all they are pulling from 4 nets, it's way past time to be shutting netting down in that lake......

For sure! Last year they only got 5 whites out of two nets. This year we heard there were a bunch of 0-3 fish nets. Pretty bad. I thought they would have shut it down last year it was so bad. Takes the biologists too long to figure this stuff out.

not seeing the connection with trapping??

if the resource is down and out. a trapper would stop trapping instead of waiting for the biologist to put a stop to it.

ive got a tough time with netting. its really hard on our fisheries and gone are the days we rely on the the fish we keep to sustain our families. fishing is a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family; maybe even keeping a couple for a tasty treat. why are people allowed to "strip mine" our waters?
