Any News on WSS or Cabelas Boxing Day
Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone has seen any Boxing Day deals out yet for WSS or Cabelas. Cabelas had some smoking deals on Tikkas last year but I couldn't get to the store to take advantage of it.

Yup, I got the Cabela's boxing day flyer yesterday. No Sakos or Tikkas.....sorry. The front page has a TC Venture in 22-250 at $449.....$200 off. Nothing else jumped right out at me though.

I was told by a very reliable source WSS will be opening Boxing Day at 6 a.m.!

cabelas open at 6:00am, longer hours mean more sales. a lot of people will go in to the stores just cause its boxing day. and most are like me its very tough to go in without buying a thing. i always find something to spend money on. b
as for rifles, cabelas will have browning silver stalker semi auto 12g
and a mosberg 4x4 bolt action rifle and scope combo 30-06 and 7mm mag
savage axis xp bolt-action prdator combo 204 ruger to 243win.

Won't matter if they're open. WSS won't have any sale items in stock anyway... Cabelas isn't much better lately either.

you got that right, and ya was at cabelas and wss in the last week better stock is all out. sale items are all gone. this was the first time i really was dissapointed with both stores during the same week. usually i hit one if they dont have what i want the other does. i suppose a the week before christmas though...

x2...on both places. I don't even bother to go to Cabelas anymore even though they are 5min from my house. Everytime I go there anything I want is always out of stock. And it's the same thing at WSS.

I guess it depends on what you are shopping for, I have never went to Cabelas when they didn't have some of the things I was looking for. Walking around looking at thousands of hunting/fishing things is all part of the shopping trip for me though, I never get to up set if there are a couple things they don't have.

I wonder if the Fishin holes having another big sale . Haven't heard anything about one which is pretty rare . I'd like to replace my tackle boxes after a season of client trips , replace my cranks , and terminal tackle .

Has anyone seen the flyers for these stores posted online anywhere? I got the Bass Pro Shops one and it's got a few deals on rifles, but nothing great.

They ere open on BD last year. Not usually a BD shopper but last year I was at Cabelas at 0600 and went to WSS for their 0900 opening. Bought an Ice Fishing tent at WSS for 50% off last year.

If anyone is looking to buy snowshoes head over to Costco they have same ones that are in the Cabelas flyer for 75$...so thats like 50% off Cabelas!

Last year I called wss on the 24th. they put a sale item aside for me. Try that it worked for me.

They come as as a set with poles, bag and snowshoes same as in the cabelas flyer that stinky buffalo posted a link to.

Just got back from cabela's. Didn't see the flyer till i got there. Rem 700 sps, with scope and hard case $499. I decided it wouldn't be right to not bring one home. Lets see if my wife agrees...
I think the sale ended today, though.

I got Rem 700sps with scope & hardcase in 30-06 for 499+tax=525, I think I got a good deal, looks solidly built. Haven't tried it out yet.
