Default Big Fraser river sturgeon

Looks like 3 Albertans managed to land a rather large sturgeon near Chilliwack. 11 feet long and 62 inches around. Estimated at 800 lbs.

And I thought ours was big!

Simply epic fish to catch and release....if you have not done this I highly recommend it!

Congrats to the lads who landed this beast!

Default Big Fraser river sturgeon

Yes this is a great trip I would recommend to all anglers even my wife had a great time and she doesn’t fish much. We have caught lots over the years none that big 86” “inches about 350 pounds was biggest. But what a great time we go to Hope just up river from Chilliwack.

I'm in the same boat as the others, would strongly recommend anyone remotely interested in fishing these Dino's to book a trip..

Was blessed to anchor a 11 foot beast a few years ago as well... An experience I will never forget.
