Default A Stranded Nation

A Stranded Nation (2019)

A Stranded Nation is a documentary about our national interests, a competitive oil and gas sector, and the benefits it provides to all Canadians.
It's a bit long at over an hour but definitely worth the watch.

Perhaps they should have a "movie and pajama" evening for all the MP's in Ottawa and have them watch this

Thanks for sharing this. I almost felt like crying at times because everything they touched on is exactly all of the misinformation people spew all over social media. Canadians are so ill-informed about how great our country and resource sector really is.

Excellent video.

Everyone can learn something and maybe see another side of the story that simply doesn't get told. Unfortunately, the ones that need to watch it the most are the ones that won't watch it.

Fairly well done, they missed a few points that back up the film's message, but overall it should be palatable to the masses presented as is.

It got an unexpectedly positive reaction from a co-worker who is usually disinterested at best when you try to explain these concepts to him.

Good luck getting a Sunday night CBC time slot or a Netflix release... hahaha

Thanks for posting that, just watched on the big screen. Pretty well done. The odds of it changing any zealots is zero, but maybe the odd rational misinformed person might wake up....

Well done vid. Not perfect, nothing is, but opens the veils on what the industry means to the country as a whole. Something that a great many people don't understand.

Actually a book of the same name, refers to Australia, might be worth reading.

Trican closed the doors on Drayton Valley and Lloydminster today.

Probably a good 40 or 50 6 figure jobs evaporated.

The attack on our industry is putting good people out of work.

Ironic considering we have a tax payer funded network, that we would even have to take note of something like this.

If it doesn't promote our country's best interests, what the heck good is it?!
