Default More evacuations due to wild fires underway

Looks like people around Little Smoky are having to evacuate now due to another wildfire between Fox Creek and Little Smoky.

Ain't that the truth. Been almost 6 years since I cleared my last building room by room. Hats off to them is right. I was a volunteer fire fighter for five years at an oil sands plant, a half dozen pump fires and only one lunch room and camp trailer fire. To be under that stress and on the front line right in the path of danger , over and over and over , they deserve the utmost respect.

Most of the timber is birch trees in the fires path. It burnt 50 years ago, we had to drive through the same fire on our way to university. However in those days we did not have these extreme dry conditions.
