Talking Arctic Grayling Report))very pic heavy(( success

Arctic Grayling is a beautiful fish first off.

Headed out of Edmonton somewhere far north, hit the road at 10pm Friday arrived to our destination at 2am and it was very light out i guess northern Alberta has some light all summer long 24 hours, woke up and was hoping for some grayling but instead caught a couple of pike so after exploring for a bit we headed out west and got into some of the most beautiful country Alberta has to offer, saw to many moose, deer and one bear on this trip, the place where we set up camp was very far away and we did not see any people out there for two days, i hope all of you have a chance to catch a grayling on the fly because you will very much enjoy the experience.

Looks like you guys had a good weekend. Did you spend most of your time on the freeman? Or did you guys try the Swan and Moosehorn rivers as well?

Thanks for sharing Shawn.

Great to see the hair slightly less crusty! Although the pic of you in the chest waders and gear looks rather phallic.... two packages surrounding a 'net'....

In all seriousness though, good on you for getting out an exploring. Great pics.

XiphOid and myself had a great time, to be safe we caught around 100 grayling, 6 rocky mountian whites, and 2 pike, saw one bear and tons of moose, deer, maybe some wolf or cougar tracks as well and some other bear tracks, was a stunning get away for grayling, they are not camera friendly as well lol.

Stimuators, high floating ones.
They really like the ones with legs.

Also caught a few on a spinner with my spin rod.
