Default The trophy you're after

Just thought I'd make a thread about the trophy(s) you're going after this hunting season...

The whitetail I'll hopefully put down...

Around 160 I'm thinking?

Hopefully this guy shows up around my box blind again this year, putting on another 15-20" of bone would be good to.

Elkaholic, I think you buck will gross high 160"s maybe touch 170" if your real lucky.

Shot this guy last year, he grossed 151", your buck has him beat in length on every tine and a touch wider as well.

Hey Elk, you should have saw the whitey my wife and I saw last night right by Coyote Gas, near Grouard. We were on our way back to town from Salt Prairie ( only saw a whack of does out there and shot one chicken ) so I was a little disappointed that we never saw a single buck. Well, even though this buck was on the highway, it was still awesome to see one like that! I REALLY high 5 x 5 and with decent width too. Pretty cool.
As far as your thread, I have only seen one buck, one time, that I would like to put on the ground. Haven't seen him since.
I have been pretty focused on whacking this big elk for the past week, that whiteys have taken the back burner for now. Still no luck on the elk, had three encounters with him, but not on the ground yet.

Like wise Me and DaJimmer seek the monster Mulies that do not exist farther to the south 2 months of trips walking driving and glassing have yet to produce on glimps of the elusive 190+ over 200 sections of permission and more to be gotten But it all kicks of on this coming Friday with Smoke pole in hand.

For those who get them all the time cool for me a truly hog Mulie is a long time comming I hope the time money and effort pay of before the next long wait.

If either of these are still around with an extra 30 or 40 inches I would be happy

Note the date stamp this was not in 2007 nor was it may but smack could you imagine if that was mays growth what Aug 1 would look like

Under subscribed bull moose draw for Nov. Hope Mr big is still around. Was able to play lovesick cow moose with him for two days last calling season, had him at 80 yrds but he was behind the thickest crap, no bullet would have made it through, needed him to take a few more steps. Never got the chance and never seen him again all of oct. Hopefully I will meet him again.
