Question beaver lake near sundre

anyone know if the ice is off beaver lake, near burnstick?

Yes, Beaver Lake has most of the ice off now. Watch out for the boom that was around the aerator. It's low in the water. Don Anderson posted some pictures on FB the other day about it.

I thought it was supposedly winter killed cause they turned the aerators off?

And it did partially winterkill in the winter of 2015/16. The return to aeration system used prior to 2015 resolved the issue.
There appears to be no winterkill in the 2016/17 winter season.
