Default any goldens left in Barnaby/Southfork lakes

I have the stocking reports and It shows they were last stocked in 2008.

A well known fly-fisher/author has indicated that they would only survive 6-8 years after stocking, after that they would die of old age.

According to the aforementioned, this would be year 8 after the stocking so there should be some remaining. I looked through the forum and didn't see any posts for 2014 or 2015 or 2016.

I'm thinking of heading down there next weekend if someone can confirm they've caught some recently.

I know of someone who caught a golden a couple weeks ago from one of the barnaby lakes, not sure which one though. I don't know the guy too well.

we were up there on august long. our group got 8 or 9 between the three of us and missed double that. a few of the other people there hooked up as well. middle lake was where we were. apparently upper lake has fewer but bigger ones. saw a few rises in lower lake as well. they are defiantly in there.

The middle of the three lakes is where u want to fish. They reproduce naturally in that lake. The other two lakes have a few but never done well in them. Use small flies #18s and such.
