Buddy of mine just had a 7mm WSM built. He couldn't find any either, but over the years he managed to pickup about 200 pieces of 1-F from the range.

Hehe.. i even messaged Clay at Prophet river... told him he have all the wsm in stock but i never see 7mm wsm brass for sale...
I was lucky enough to find someone with 40 pieces of brass wich i traded for 20 / 375 h&h brass...
I think its stupid 325 wsm brass is easier to come by...

I neck down 300WSM brass because you can make/leave a false shoulder when sizing down the neck to insure proper headspace. Since the 270 and 300 wsm have a shorter shoulder length than the 7 wsm if you neck down the larger dia 300 case neck just right you can fire form it without stretching the crap out of the case which is what usually happens when trying to use 270 wsm cases.

Have you done this? Just thinking all the shoulder problems with this brass could be a "hair straight back" ordeal. My 7 WSM is a tight neck at .308", but if this works its only one more step before fire forming.

Could be a hair straight back ordeal with a .308 neck, you would have to turn your neck somewhere in the process before fire forming and it would be pretty hard to know exactly how far down the neck to turn it because the neck shoulder junction is going to move ahead when fired. You'd have to do some cyphering and carry a few naughts to get it right and not wreck your brass. It can be done just might waste some brass getting it right. My chamber is factory and the neck is .322 so it's not necessary to neck turn in my gun as long as the neck thickness after going through the die is less than .018" thick before firing.

About the same as 270 or 300 WSM brass. They still make it, just scarce right now.

Had my dad pick me up two packs 270 wsm brass. Anyhow he gave them to me and I primed them with cci mag primers and went to load them up and found out they were 7mm wsm instead. If any of you are interested in primed cases give me a pm. I necked down a couple afterwards to 270 but the brass in the throats are tighter than I'd like so don't want to do any more. Guessing offhand I have about 75 or 80 cases.

They do still make it, by the way.
But, ATRS has Norma 300 WSM brass for $120 for 50 pieces. Pretty easy to neck down and form a false shoulder, make it so the bolt is a little tough to close, pull your "create case" lever (aka the trigger), and your case creating machine spits out very good quality Norma 7 WSM brass (only problem with it is the machine (your gun) doesn't fix the head stamp - it still says 300 WSM :P
