Default How much weight does bedding an action add

How much weight does bedding a action add and do most ultralight rifles have the action bedded?

Not enough difference to notice by handling the rifle. On a scale, perhaps an ounce or two at most.

Because ultra-light rifles are not inherently accurate I would bed mine to try to minimize any bedding issues.
Most factory rifles are not glass bedded .

A container of acra gel is probably 2- 3 oz and to bed a rifle one can get away with approx. an oz of compound.

If you use devcon steel it would be more weight but not much .
