So who got their hands on R22

After seeing that some Reloader 22 showed up in Calgary yesterday I thought I would phone WSS north Edmonton yesterday and see if they would be getting any Alliant powder. I was told that yes they would be getting some probably Monday or Tuesday. I called back this morning and was told it should be unloaded and ready for sale in about 2 to 3 hours. I called back at 2:30 and wholesale said yes it's for sale. Jumped in the vehicle and headed to town. Wahoo just like Christmas, I picked up 8 lbs of Reloader 22. When I left WSS still had 153 lbs of R22. By 6:00pm when my buddy went to buy they were already down to 30lbs.

I ordered 5 lbs online yesterday, and should have it next week. A friend just picked up 3 lbs at Edmonton North about 10 minutes ago, and it is almost gone.

I ordered 5 lbs of RL22 and should have it early next week.

I too was told Edm WS north and south would have RL for sale Mon/Tue, I couldn't chance it so I had some co-workers pick up 6lbs for me earlier today in Calgary before returning to EDM, its now on my reloading bench.

So I am a new guy to reloading and Lyman says a .243 likes the R22. When will there be more and will it be gone this fast all the time??

In the last several years, R-22 shows up every year or two.

I bought 3, my brother 5. I would have bought a 5lber but my brother got the last one.

If you show up at the Edmonton stores first thing in the morning you might. Both stores are still showing it as being in stock.

Got 4 lbs for an AO member in the Hat and 4 lbs for an AO member in Lloyd. They are happy. I am happy that I don't need the stuff
