Default GAS .769 Edmonton- not anymore

I was there last week, grabbed 550L of it and saved $148.50 over buying in Lloydminster. If it stays this low I might load another sliptank if I go this week and store up.

It is strange that diesel is not following suit, only .11c cheaper in Edmonton. I won't haul it for that.

If it hits under .70c I will invest some savings in fuel futures

550L isn't bulk that's just a couple weeks worth. I don't have it long enough to need it. The only time I use it is when I park the boat for winter, and thank you for reminding me!!!

Probably don't need stabilizer with the amount of vehicles and fuel he uses. LOL. Gone in a week Fill again. Better watch out for the fuel thieves. They will drain your tanks while you sleep. MO FOES That's an awesome price for fuel and yes, wish diesel would do the same

With the lights and cameras I have plus the fact that the bedroom window is open all night they are going to have to be damned sneaky. I have it hidden pretty well. I am not going to jinx myself by saying anything else.

I was going to leave a present out for the bastards though, bought a slip tank with some real gross looking crap in it, smells like gasoline but I would not use it to start a fire. Perfect for a jerry can thief.

Today I am buying some more inline water separating filters.

One word of advice on buying cheap gas- filter.

More specifically, water filter 10 mic.

I drained off nearly 6L of water in 450L of gas.

I generally double filter everything I buy, especially when it comes to diesel. I use a see through filter and when it hits you see the water easily.

I bought 2 new filters from princess auto yesterday.

Agreed crucial to have. I cringe when I see crusty old sliptanks in trucks with no filters next to the pumps. Feel bad for whatever is getting fueled up by that.

You definitely smarter than the average bear there Yogi. I love the idea of a tank with the crap stuff in it . Wish there was something one could put in the mix to detonate their engine.

Sand does a decent job, mixed properly of course!
Got this from a friend of a friends uncle that knows the lady at the bakery whose husband has an older brother that hangs at the skating rink and the coach says his wife’s sister in law may have the recipe!

Awesome. My grandfathers brothers, sons, uncle, on his mothers sisters aunt side said the same. LOL

She could bake bread and rebuild a carb all in the kitchen.

$.749 today at Petrocanada, which means .08c cheaper than Costco. I get .04c from Visa and the Petro points card, looks like another trip in a day or 2.

Dont want to sidetrack this thread, but remember way back when diesel was always 10cents cheaper than regular gas? What happened to that?

All the manufacturers went to diesel cars and personal trucks so it wasn't just commercial use is my best guess.

They saw more $$$

Today Fuel is $3.03 US$ in Mesa AZ per US gal and with exchange of approx $1.35 this would put be $4.09 CDN$ Per US gal. A US gal = 3.785 l, so price CDN equivalent is $1.08 per litre. Not so cheap to travel by auto in USA, and diesel prices vary lots but always more than gas. Fuel prices also vary lots between the different states, with California being much more expensive. Strange But we don’t hear any US citizen or any media complain about fuel costs.

I filled up for $1.21 I believe for premium last night. Regular was like $0.96 or so. Drove by a station a bit down the road and they had regular for $1.23.

Yup heard a rumor in Calgary fuel will spike up at least 13 cents a litre this week coming up. For the most part it's at 99.9 and when Turdope applies his carbon tax crap it will jump another 15 cents. I'm thinking it's about time Canada revolts against this government and let them know we will not be taken advantage of. They are supposed to work for us, not us work for them. They have to realize we the citizens are not to be used as their whenever they want ATM machine

I am down to about 600L or so, never did buy a bunch of diesel. I ended up with a couple thousand litres at .769 so that definately helps.
