Isn't it nice when we can all find some common ground?
I also have a hate on for the Ducks, usually when a team gets under my skin I just put them on ignore and tune them out, can't be bothered to hate but that Anaheim team REALLY rubs me the wrong way. Mostly cause of how the refs turn a blind eye and show them HUGE favouritism, especially in the playoffs
Getzlaf the goof is the dirtiest player in the league, BY FAR. Yet the refs turn a blind eye to most of his shenanigans. Watch him when he's behind the play, the stickwork never stops. If there's one team I wanna put a beating on each and every time we play it's DEFINITELY the Ducks. They bring out the worst in me.
Pretty cool seeing the hats thrown on the ice in another barn, that showed some class. But I still hate 'em.
Someone mentioned the parade to the penalty box, I agree it kills the game. (Unless it's an obvious penalty) We don't tune in to watch the refs, the linesman drive me nuts when they try and draw the centremen out on a face off, just drop the damn puck!
Great road win all around. On to the next one...

Awe you missed me? Bet you were on the edge of your seat awaiting my take on the game. LOL
Unfortunately with staying up late the night before watching the Flames game, and getting up for work before 5, I was all set up to watch the game and promptly fell asleep. Ha
I did sort of wake up to see hat's raining down for McHattrick. Took a look at the score and figured that's how last night was going to go. Turned it off and was out.
I don't think any of us are upset to see a beating to them Ducks so good job.
I see this morning got some chip in from others so that must make you all happy.

Well Rat you make it interesting that’s for sure. With Flames only playing Wed this week till the weekend I feel I will probably have my fill of rodent by the weeks end. At least we agree to hate those Ducks. Agreed it’s one of the rare times I Cheer for the second best Alberta Team, down south.

What did I miss here? They are 4-5-1 in their last ten, 4 points out of last in the league, and yes, have won three straight, but two were 1 goal games and two of them against some of the worst teams in the leauge. Maybe it's relative, but I'd hardly consider that "rolling" and would certainly expect the Oilers to win tonight. Philly, Washington, St. Louis, them be rolling.

Yesssh, you guys both need higher standards! Now that the Oilers are "good", the rules have changed. Statements games are no longer played against bottom dwellers like in the past 13 years, but against clubs such as Boston, Washington, St. Louis, Calgary and the like.

Sharks are a good team..... where ya been? Lol. Always a contender. Last year they went pretty deep. Just had a bad start. They will be up near the top (like almost always) by game 82. Especially now that they started rolling.

Maybe...... It's something like teams that are 4 pts out on 5th November, since the lock out, have a 20% chance of making the playoffs though. They are 6 points out now the the 12 November (yes, I'm aware of the Blues from last year....). I don't believe it's the skaters that are the problem in SJ though, Jones and Dell are bottom 8 in the league (qualified goaltenders) for SA% and bottom 10 for GAA.
They also lost some key players, such as their top goal scorer/captain, top four D man in Braun, one of their top scores in Donskoi, and 60 pt guy in Nyquist. They are a different team than last year. Just thing were the Oilers would be if they lost their captain, a top four Dman, and a 60 pt guy.

I'd like to laugh at you guys, but I don't like the Sharks and know the pain Smith can bring when he's not at 100%.
