Default Young dumb and armed the real story behind Australia's gun ban

We often hear about the Australian gun ban in 1996 being a huge success 20 years later not so much. A three part series by the oldest news service in the land down under, good fodder for letters to our current leaders.

I find it interesting the gangs shoot to wound rather than kill, dead people can't pay debts.

A brazen new breed of criminals is taking up arms at unprecedented rates and they aren't afraid to use them.
Read The Age's investigation into how Melbourne became a gun city.

We are quickly appoaching the age where it is time for capital punishment again. I just hope it doesn't come under facist governments. People are getting fed up with hug a thug.

Default If the Gov't won't protect you

You will and are seeing a rise in right wing vigilante groups doing what the Gov't fails to address ie: SOF Soldiers of Odin recruiting as we speak based out of Finland.

I found it interesting-but not surprising that the majority of violent criminals in parts of Australia are of middle eastern heritage. Regard for human life there has low priority it seems...and the fact that this trend is becoming more common in places like Toronto. Go figure.

It all most seems that the system is playing into this so the government's can say,,, look, the criminals are getting the firearms from law abiding citizens.

So if we ban them from everyone, there will be less chances of gun crimes from happening.

So the trick is to allow criminal to run free with the laws to protect them, that way the scale of them "could" increases till killings take place.

It's kind of a Devil's card game to shift attention away from one crime to the next. If the government's can persuade the majority of citizens to think that firearms are the root of all evil, they win the game.

Most of us can see this playing out here in Canada since the game is underway.

Allow Petty crimes such as theft, B& E's to continue, then hope that firearms become part of the issue.

Once the serious crimes are committed by those using firearms, it makes it much easier to put restrictions in place,,, then start banning one type of firearm at a time.

This would be the easiest way to swing the vote of no firearms for anyone in years to come.

Only time will tell as criminals are gaining ground in the Canadian system since the laws protect them just as much as the innocent.

A system that is set up to fail those that abide by the law as we become the ones that lose the most,,, a way to restrict freedoms and control of the people with their nation.

I'm most likely wrong as normal since each person has their own take on what's going down.
