Default Appears Doug Ford is on our side

This article also has a poll attached---hit it.

https://www.thestar.com/news/city_ha...n-toronto.html

And he put out a vid on Ford nation on FB with Ontario's stance on gangs and guns and how he is going to do what the feds will not do. He gets it.

Don't hold your breath, it won't happen until a majority of voters do.

Good Luck, YMMV.

It's time like this that I think we are living in simulation.... Who would have ever thought that a premier from Ontario would be the voice of reason on firearms issues.

And of course this is what is being broadcast in the country. They took soundbites of Ford's speech, which is a lot longer and says a lot more, and gives all kinds of time and prompting to Wendy Cukier to promote her stance., then the TO police chief, then Ford's speech finally.

Haven't seen a lot of him on interviews but he seems like a no nonsense guy. Liberals implement stupid gun laws targeting legal gun owners and PCs support legal gun owners and get rid of the stupid gun laws.........no surprise to me.

My take is that RF is saying what most politicians want to but don’t have the balls too!

Most politicians have to abide by party line. They’re there for the money and pensions.

Our political system is set up to appease the whiners.

Qu/"Chief Mark Saunders told council during a debate on gun violence on July 24 that 50 per cent of firearms used for crimes were lawfully obtained in Canada and then, typically, resold."/qu

Leave it to a politician to take "questionable" long gun crime stats and twist it for the sheeple into believing that legal handgun owners are selling their registered guns to thugs.😡

Doug Ford reminds me of Ralph Klein. Leave him to do his job and he will get things done.
Mind boggling how so many people just don't get it with gun violence. Taking guns away from legal gun owners won't affect criminals in the least. And no... I don't believe legal gun owners are supplying crooks with guns. Who ever cooked that up just doesn't understand our gun laws.
