Post Firewood Near Calgary

Hi everyone,

I have my TM66 permit, can someone help me find a spot to hack up some firewood? Preferably somewhere straight west of Calgary.

Thanks in Advance,

There is a guy on Kijiji that rents log splitters for $30/day. Can split dry or green wood. Easy to deal with.

I'm betting the firewood cutting season is about over, looking out my window.

Mclean creek south end....I use the map on the website where you buy the permit and go from there..... cut and split out there.... went out in the morning and was home with a full truck of hand split wood ( split out there ...less mess ) and was still able to go to work for my 3pm shift.....
