RCMP takedown on Alberta farm
Big story on today's National Post front page. "Gopher shooting session turns into heavily-armed RCMP takedown on Alberta farm". A neighbour called RCMP for reports of shots fired with multiple RCMP members responding. Gopher hunters had permission to hunt on a friends pasture. Nobody was hurt just somebody getting police involved in a routine gopher hunt resulting in arrests and taken to an RCMP detachment.

And then when everyone was at the bar they kicked in doors and took all thier guns so no one could continue gopher shooting the next day......I once new a girl in band camp

RCMP continue to be a joke in this day and age. If they would do some decent policing in the communities instead of non stop traffic ticketing I may change my views but I have lost faith in the system years ago.

RCMP still best police force in the world, "They always get their man" and keep us Canadians safe. Glad we do not have Billy Bob and his brother in law as sheriff and deputy like them Americans. They need to put up with substandard policing.
