Default thank you paramedics!!!!

My little guy (little over a year) got trampled over at a play place at a major franchise store in calgary and recived a head injury a while back, went unconsious and the ambulance came, trip to the the childrens, few hours later he was good enough to release. But after the incident any kind of fall or slip and he went unconsious. Tonight it got worse, his big sister took a toy away from him and he wanted to freak out but went unconsious in my arms instead.I called the ambulance and a short time later they came to help my son. This is just down rite scary and with out the good people driving the ambulance I would still be freaking out!!! so a big THANK-YOU to all paramedics from me and my family.

Hope everyone is ok.

I hope your child is being thoroughly checked out as no adult or child should just go unconcious for no apparent reason.

Very kind. You would not believe the pay, it is absolutely staggering. A hug or handshake from a grateful person that we help is more valuable than any paycheck I ever received.

(I know you are talking about EMT's, I am Volunteer, 30 years this fall. )

WOW, a volenteer for 30 years!!! you sir are a better man than me, and the world could use more like you. the thank-you goes to everyone involved in the process, I wish i could have hugged everybody not just the medics that came to my house.

scariest thing in the world is holding your child, thinking they are dieing.

Hey Tosh. Glad to hear it turned out man, but follow FM's advice for sure. Brain stuff is scary stuff dude.

I too know the feeling of helplessness holding a child you think is going to die. Each second feels like a year!

Good luck with everything and get that little guy fixed up, ok.

Scary, glad to hear things look up. Don't drop your guard till you are completely confident things are all right and have it figured out. Had one of my little ones that would hold his breath until he would pass out and turn purple when agitated, thought it was epliteptic siezures or something to start, scared the life out of my wife and me a good bit till we got things figured out(doctor visits, research, such). He grew out of it, but, head injuries are nothing to laugh at. And yes, most EMT/Paramedic/Doctors are under appreciated, thanks goes out from me as well.

Thank you.
make sure doc sends requests for neurological exam as well as Cardio.
If they don't, INSIST on it, also insist that they get your little one into these specialists ASAP.
